What is the best way to introduce yourself to current staff when coming into a new managment position?

Can anyone give me tips on introducing yourself when coming into an organization as a team's new manager/director?

Things like...
How much personal information should I share?

How in-depth should I be about past work experiences?

Should I express personal and team goals right away?
