Book Review

This book is written as a fable.  I'm not as doctrinaire as others who have no use for business fables - Pat Lencioni's books are quite good, I think.  And since I hate multi-tasking, I wanted to love this book...but I didn't.  I liked it, but I didn't love it. The fable was a little too simplistic, and it really didn't give me a lot to work with.

It did have one great point though: it introduced a new phrase (at least to me): switchtask.  THAT is what we're all doing when we think we're multitasking.  We're switching.  And we're terrible at switching (which he proves nicely).

If you need something light (without some stuff at the end it's 100 pages), that makes some basic suggestions, it's pretty good.
