You guys deserve the recognition! I listen to half a dozen podcasts pretty regularly. All of them get old after a while, and get replaced in the rotation. All except MT. I'm looking forward to adding Career Tools to the mix soon.
This is richly deserved. Most of us think about the content (which is world class) yet a winning podcast has to do much more. What struck me first was the "two guys having a conversation" approach. It wasn't another boring interview. Mark and Mike were engaged in developing ideas together, and the podcast opens up the thought process behind the ideas. The rapport is genuine, the humor (not jokes) comes from the material and the personalties, giving this podcast a depth most others can only imagine.
Moreover, the production quality and editing are excellent. The theme music fits the show perfectly. It's free. And it's free of annoying advertisements. There's more, but I'll stop there.
Brian expressed exactly how I feel. You guys absolutely deserve it. Yours is the only podcast that will remain permanent in my life and I also look forward to Career Tools.
This is the great news coming at 5pm Sunday to cheer up the day which was to say the least, Horrendous.
Amazed at how good news helps to cheer up spirits.
Keep up the great work. Thank you for being a path finder.
Karthik.
Congratulations Mark, Mike and all supporters of your casts
I am happy to hear the news. Now I have one more comment to ad when directing managers and other collegues to your Podcasts. (Introducing them to MT is such a easy way to help people grow.)
Since february I have listened to almost all the shows that you have done since 2005. BIG thank you for charing your insights and letting us listeners tap in to your heads.
I think this award is another big steps towards your goal to change the world of management.
See you in London. Best regards from me and Sweden.
