European Conference Set: January 29 - 30, Amsterdam Schiphol
October 3rd, 2007We are pleased to announce our first ever European Effective Manager Conference!
We’re thrilled with how our attendees felt about their experiences this year at conferences:
“It’s really simple: If you’re a manager, you need manager-tools, you need to hear Mark and Mike, and if you have the opportunity to EXPERIENCE Mark, Mike, & company, DON’T MISS IT.
This was hands-down the best training I’ve ever attended.”
Fran McTernan
The basics: It’s January 29-30, at the Sheraton Amsterdam Schiphol.
For more details, our agenda, and logistics, please go to the Effective Manager Conference page.
If you’re ready now, go to our conference registration page to register now.
We have limited space to 75 attendees (NOT 100!). We have presented in Europe before, and we know that our lack of fluency means more practice and more time on key subjects.
“This Manager Tools conference was the most effective two days of training that I have ever had. I have taken away so much from this conference above what I was getting out of the pod casts. In addition to presentations and practice, which were excellent, I got a lot out of the Q&A’s during the meals and the informal discussions after dinner and between breaks. It also makes all of the difference in the world to be at a training seminar with so many other people that actually want to be there.
I can’t wait until I get back to work to put some of what I learned to action. I am absolutely convinced that this will have a major positive impact on my team.”
So, for all our European members begging us for a conference: here it is. Your turn!
We hope to see you in January.

Is there somewhere we can register an expression of interest for the planned conference in Sydney, Nov 2008?

Hi Guys,
I have been listening to your show since July, great stuff. Do you know how many listeners you have in China. I have been telling many people about your site. I work for a corporate training company, would you like to come to China?

Mark and Mike,
Good thought of China, You can combine India and China rest assured of 100 seats here in India on a combined 2 week tour.
I hope this should be in your 2009 Radar.
Regards
Karthik

jhbchina,
We have a rough idea of the number of listeners in China. Although we would LOVE to come to China, the number of listeners there doesn’t seem to suggest that we could economically have a conference.
If you have something else in mind, we’d love to talk!

Registration completed !
And by the way, there seems to be a small bug in the automatic outlook scheduling function : they seem to put the event on US time.
Or … Is it really from 15.00 the 29 of Jan to 1.00 in the morning the 31st of Feb ?
Cédric.

Dear Mike and Mark:
I have been a steady listener of your podcast since early 2006 and now I am seriously entertaining the idea of signing up for the European MT conference.
However I have no management experience. I work as a financial analyst and my job tends to be a one-man show, although I communicate on a daily basis with my clients and top management of quoted companies, plus I have (I think) good experience in presenting ideas. But I have no experienced regarding one on one or managing projects for example.
So my question is, should I sign or am I going to be more of a drag for the rest of the attendees?
Thanks
Javier

Javier,
Regardless of your experience, we’d love to have you at the conference. You won’t be a drag at all!
Looking forward to meeting you soon!
best regards,
Mike

Mike and Mark,
Awesome that you’re coming to Amsterdam!
I received your invitation email today (Oct 9th) and it says the Early Registration discount ends Oct 2nd. And as far as I can tell you only announced the dates on Oct 3rd. Is this intentional, or did I miss an earlier announcement?
Anyway, I’m looking forward to January and catching some of that infectious energy and enthusiasm.
Best regards,
Jonathan
