Effective Manager Conference, September 5-6, San Antonio
June 12th, 2007We are pleased to announce our September Effective Manager Conference!
Our first conference, in April, was a huge success for us - Mike and I described it as the best two days of our professional lives. And our attendees agreed:
“I have attended Dale Carnegie, American Management Association, etc conferences and the MT conference blew them away!”-
Jeff Vose, April attendee
The basics: It’s September 5-6, in San Antonio, at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio. Over the two days, we will again deliver what you expect from us: detailed, specific, actionable recommendations about your day to day management life.
For more details, our agenda, and logistics, please go to the Effective Manager Conference page.
If you’re ready now, go to our conference registration page to register now.
We’ve once again limited space to 100 attendees, to ensure you get personal attention. BUT, our first conference was SO successful that those attendees asked us to let them know about San Antonio a few days early, so they could be sure to send their directs right away. We did, and we have already registered 20 people for September. There are only 80 slots left as we open registration today. Please act fast (some of you know our first conference filled up in 30 days.)
“This is the best manager training I have attended in my career. By a wide margin. Do yourself a huge favor: As soon as registration opens for San Antonio, sign up!”
- Paul Moriarty, April Attendee
We’ve published a podcast about the conference as well - Mike and I informally go over the basics of the conference agenda and why you should attend.
We hope to see you soon!

May I suggest starting a list to collect interest in having a conference in Asia or Europe? I can’t justify the expense of flying from Israel to the US but am regularly in Australia, Asia and the flight to Europe would be reasonable.

Agree, a conference in Asia or Europe could be useful for people in this region. I support such a move.

(06:45, eastern US) - at the moment, the conference registration link is pointing to the “sold out” message from the last conference.
Cheers,

I would like so much to be with you guys … But this is the week when 3 of my children begin in new shools ! Don’t think I am able to negociate with my wife.
I would be so interested by a MT conference in Europe.

All-
First, Gary, THANK YOU. Mike is on it.
Second, it is our intent to do a conference in Europe in 08. We don’t have details yet, but we are thinking Schiphol Airport is convenient for many.
And, Asia is in our future as well.
Thanks for your interest!

I would send at least 5 people from my company if you had a conference in Asia.
I suggest Singapore or Bangkok as possible locations.

We’re working on it, and we’ll hold you to that!

Count me in for a training at Schiphol Airport in 2008! I would have registered for San Antonio if I would not have been in Sri Lanka the week before and in Wisconsin the week after….

Tokyo is my first choice for Asia, I would love to plan that one. You could twist my arm and sign me up for the Singapore trip. Bali wouldn’t be too bad either

Thanks, for the help. Yours work, open new prespectives, to old problems.
I´ve voted in yours podcast several times.

I’ll send one direct and hopefully a peer to the Schiphol 08 date.

I just caught up with these two shows and again I was very impressed. When I saw the topic I thought – “you have to be kidding” but on listening to the coverage it was spot on, valuable and above all practical (as usuall).
I take the point that this approach has a much wider application and it is one that will be in with the other “tools” that you have so generously shared with colleagues.
Thanks again, and I have been off and voted on Podcast alley – will do my bit in return.
All my best regards and thanks again. SteveP.

Steve-
Were you referring to the conference cast, or perhaps about body odor?
