Performance Evaluations in a Matrix Environment (Part 2 of 2)
January 8th, 2007Last week we covered the first part of our conversation on conducting performance evaluations in a matrix environment … this week we conclude the conversation.
As always, if you’re a new listener to Manager Tools, joining the conversation mid-way is probably not the best way to take advantage of these podcasts. You may just want to go back and listen to last week’s podcast first.

Hey Mike, you keep talking about “Dark Mike”, your evil counterpart, and I don’t think it has quite the same ring as “Dark Mark”. What can we come up with that’s better? Hmm…how about “Spike”, or maybe “Unlike Mike”? Heh heh.

Great podcast series. I am a manager that uses matrix’d team members who report to multiple line managers for administration and performance review. I kept listening hoping to learn more about how I should be better supporting my team members with their line managers, and the ’secret step 9′ suggestion was my answer. Thanks! - Steve
