Audio File Hosting Site Down
November 21st, 2006Unfortunately, it is likely that you are having troubles downloading some of the older podcasts. It appears that our audio hosting site (Switchpod.com) is down. We’re in the process of moving the files over to a new host, but that will take some time. In the meantime, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience!
Update (11/23/2006): All files have been moved over to the new host. If anyone has any issues accessing a podcast, please do let me know! Thanks.

I have been looking on the itunes site for some older podcasts & can’t find them. specifically, hotwash & DISC podcasts. I am new to podcasting (thanks to manager-tools.com) so it is possible I am just overlooking something. I was able to pull up 60 manager-tool.com podcasts to choose from on itunes, but not the specific ones mentioned above. Any suggestions? Thank you. Michelle

You can find ALL the podcasts here: http://www.manager-tools.com/complete-index
The best way to get them into iTunes is to download them to your PC (right-click, Save As …) and then drag them to a playlist within iTunes.
Unfortunately, due to technical constraints, there is a practical limit to the size of the RSS files that iTunes uses to populate it’s list (60 episodes). The rest are here on the website.

After logging in, visit the “Registered Users Podcasts” for these - http://www.manager-tools.com/category/members/. Mike/Mark indicate the steps for adding the RSS feed to iTunes for automatic updates when these shows occur.

I think the RSS feed file that is located at:
http://www.manager-tools.com/podcasts/feed/rss2
has not been updated with the corrected location for the 5 affected episodes. (3 regular 2 member). (Juice still tells me they are located at switchpod, and thus I cannot access them)
Can you update the locations for episodes:
2006-07-31 (how to resign 2 of 3)
member 2006-07-31 (Preparing for your review part 1 of 2)
2006-08-14 (resolving conflict)
member 2006-08-10 (Preparing for your review part 2 of 2)
2006-08-07 (how to resign 3 of 3)

You may want to try refreshing your feed within Juice … there are currently no references to Switchpod in the feed.

Hi Mike,
After reading about “DiSC Model” in Manager Tools, I was very excited on listening to the podcasts.
I have tried to download them for a week but with no success.
Please, be as kind as to make them available again!!!!

They are still all available in either the Registered Members section (http://www.manager-tools.com/category/members/) or the Podcast Archives (http://www.manager-tools.com/complete-index).
