Many thanks! I remember, as you do, starting Horstman & Company years ago. I called everybody I knew, sitting at a little desk in the corner of my living room. I used to tell myself that after I had made 50 calls, I would get a break. I had been at it about 2 weeks when I spoke with John Hoffman, a West Point classmate, and he hired my firm for a 6 figure gig. I thought that was a LONG time... little did I know.

Even if we fail, I wouldn't trade this for anything. Mike and I are thinking about a management seminar (2 days, basic management topics, small size), in part just to meet some of our listeners.

From someone who has done it, your comments mean the world to me.

Those who are willing to take take that commitment to thier dreams on faith alone impress me the most. It reminds me of when I started my own law firm and literally shared an office with another attorney. No income, no promises just faith in our vision.

You guys are like the missionaries of mamangement. You have done alot for my firm. I am committed to helping you guys get profitable.

As Chris G*son said in an earlier comment, your true fans are with you all the way. I'm sure you both sense this, hence your move to committ in the biggest way of all to Manager-Tools. You have created something totally original, and your personalities mesh in a way that can't be easily re-produced or (in my opinion) matched. Good luck to the both of you, and to me too since I'll be trying to carry out what you're teaching us!

Perhaps there's been some grumbling about your attempts to address revenue and intellectual property, but I haven't seen it in the forum, and don't think any of your 'true fans' mind at all. Most of us already have our credit cards in hand, knowing that whatever you produce will be high quality and priced with careful consideration. I've gotten more out of your free podcasts than I have from 95% of the business books I've read (thank God for Drucker). Personally, I feel that I owe you. And I'd leap at the opportunity to help in any way I could. (Even if it's just ponying up some dough.) I'm sure I'm not the only one.
